Obituary of Garnet Downs

Garnet passed away peacefully at the Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital on Monday, September 18^th, 2023. He was 91.

Beloved partner and longtime friend of Mel Porter. Son of the late Harry and Florence (nee Gutzman) Downs. Garnet and Mel owned and operated Colonial Flowers on Craig Street in Arnprior for many years.

He will be remembered for his kindness and generosity to our community.

Private arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the

Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior.
