Dear Eric; A note from Bonnie Scharf told us of the death of your beloved wife Lois. We are saddened to hear of your loss.However we rejoice in her life and your life together for 56 years. We think back often to our life amongst your family in Arnprior from 1957-1962. We missed seeing you this past summer but have fond memoriesof your and Lois's friendship and service at St. John's. Eric I remind you of these words from the 23 Psalm " ye though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil for thou art with me, Thy rod and thy staff , they comfort me. The important word here is through. That is a promise that there is a life after death and our Lord Jesus is on the other side. We too, shall come to time when life here is no more and we shall dwell in the House of the Lord forever. May your faith provide strength for your living. PRAISE GOD

Our deepest sympathies for your great loss I’m so sorry we can not be with you all today. Please focus on the good times and wonderful memories you have of Lois. After 56 years together there must be many. I’ll miss her absolutely lovely smile and demeanor, her warm eyes and little wave hello as you went for your walks around the neighbourhood together, stopped for a qucik chat. Eric she will always walk beside you and in your heart so we will look forward to seeing you still. And just remember Wanda and Dale will be looking out for her now, so you just know she is smiling and laughing, and watching over you all. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
