Obituary of Gertrude Kuash

KUASH, Gertrude Mary (nee Yakabuski) July 24, 1917 - May 4, 2015 Peacefully at the West End Villa in Ottawa on Monday afternoon, May 4th, 2015 at the age of 97 years. The last surviving child of the late Frank Yakabuski and the late Julia Chapeskie. Predeceased by her husband, John in 2004 and her son, Timothy in 2006. She leaves to mourn her daughter, Virginia and many nieces and nephews from the Yakabuski family. Predeceased by her brothers: Lawrence and Paul and sisters: Mary and Helen. Visitation will be held at the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7:30 and again on Saturday morning from 8:30 until 9:15. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. John Chrysostom Church, Arnprior on Saturday morning, May 9th at 10 o'clock. Interment St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Renfrew. In lieu of flowers, remembrance donations to L'Arche Arnprior or the Arnprior and District Hospital Partners in Caring Foundation would be appreciated. Members of the CWL will assemble at the funeral home for prayers on Friday afternoon at 3:30.
