Obituary of Donnie Campbell

(Longtime Employee of M. Sullivan & Sons Ltd., Arnprior)

With heavy hearts, the family informs you that Donnie passed away peacefully at home while surrounded by loved ones on Friday afternoon, January 10, 2025.

Donald John “Donnie” Campbell of Fitzroy Harbour was only 62 years of age.

Beloved husband of Gail (nee Schubrink). Proud Dad of John (D’Nysha) and Mike (Kerri-Ann). Cherished Grandpa of Ilah, Evelyn and Adeline.

Dear brother of Ken Campbell, Glen Campbell (Suzie) and Darlene Weir (late Ron).

Also survived by nieces and nephews. Son of the late John and Edith (nee Brydges) Campbell.

Donnie was a hard working man.

Though he spent most of his working life driving trucks and delivering building materials in the employ of the Sullivan Family in Arnprior, his love for the farm and the land was deeply rooted and never left him.

Donnie enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Hunting and the outdoors were among his favorite pastimes.

His kindness and great work ethic will not be forgotten.

Final arrangements have been entrusted to the competent care of the Pilon Family in Arnprior.

A private family graveside service will take place at St. George’s Cemetery, Fitzroy Harbour in the Spring.
