Obituary of Greg Mills

With deep sadness the family announces the passing of Joseph Gregory Allan Mills (a.k.a. Mel) at the age of 67 years.

Greg left us on Monday, December 2, 2024 to join his daughter and love of his life, Holly Marie Johnston.

Greg was predeceased by his loving parents Sederick and Margaret (nee Valade) Mills; his sister, Shirley Fraser and his brother, William Mills (Ruth).

He is survived by his sister, Barbara Mills. Greg will be missed by his nieces: Tracey, Kelly, Michelle, Allison, Debbie, Shelley, Tammy and nephews: Garry and Barry.

Greg was known by many for his infectious laugh, easy going nature, his extreme kindness toward others and his love of dogs.

His dog Lucy will miss her daddy and best friend.

The family extends much gratitude to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital for their compassion and kindness throughout Greg’s battle.

Thanks also to Father Dan Kelly for his prayers, kindness and support.
