Dear Elizabeth and family, I am very saddened at the news of your Dad. He was a lovely gentle man who brought his skills and love of history to the Museum. He was hugely popular as our “19th century woodsman” every Canada Day and shared his knowledge with hundreds of visitors over the years. Through the rest of the year would come in to show or share new ideas or skills he had learned at the many re-enactments you both took part in. Please accept my most sincere condolences.
I'm very sorry for your loss, Liz. I could always tell he was very proud of you in our chats at the Arnprior Museum and the Arnprior Public Library. He was brilliant as a woodsman re-enactor, and he will be missed!
Chuck ! He was a dear friend in the reenactment community for years. He was thoughtful, smart, and a truly kind person. I have lots of fun memories of him and Lizzy! His memory brings smiles. My heart is with his family !
