Obituary of Ed Sampson

Edward John "Ed" Sampson 

With great sadness that we announce that Ed passed away at the Kingston General Hospital on Friday 25 October 2024 just days before his 96th Birthday.

Born in St. Stephen New Brunswick on 7 November 1928.

Beloved husband of Joyce (nee Gordon) for over 74 years.

Loving father of Cindy (John) and Joel (Rhonalea).

Grandfather of Carrie (Marty), Adam, Kyra and Marshall.

Great-grandfather of Nolan.

Uncle of Wendy, her son Cory, Neil, Tom Holly and Lisa.

Son of the late Everett and Florence Sampson of St. Andrews New Brunswick.

Predeceased by his brother Arnold and sisters Irma and Corine "Billy"

Also he will be missed by other family members Kitty, Karen and Gerald.

Ed was a member of the Royal Canadian Navy, a member of the Royal Canadian Legion and a long term employee of The City Of Ottawa.
