McGregor Family, Please accept my deepest condolences on the passing of Helen. I had the pleasure of working in her kindergarten class for a couple of years and I learned so much. Mrs. McGregor’s class had warmth, patience, curiosity, creativity and was welcoming to everyone. Helen’s approach to the little ones’ introduction to school life reminded me of the famous poem, “All I Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten,” by Robert Fulghum, adding in “wait your turn.” Certainly, my career has been richer for knowing Helen.
