Judy, Dana, Hugh and families… Wendy, Trevor and Tracy and I all wish we could be there with you today. Our world has been shaken and forever changed with losing brother Bill. I have so many great memories: Jumping off Bon Echo and Bill resurfacing without his swim trunks. Drag racing a Chevy Impala Super Sport down Main Street in Merrickville and me finally beating Bill! So many great nights in Viadon Acres, on the lake listening to Neil Diamond sing “Forever in Blue Jeans” and “Born in the USA” by Bruce Springsteen while we all sat around the fire for just hours and hours. The guy could party as hard as he worked. Such good memories. My brother and Judy have taken time lately to check in regularly with my wife Wendys health as she battles cancer. I wanted to come visit everyone out east recently but he said to stay put and care for Wendy, little did we know. This generous guy even gave away a kidney, as I’m sure many here know, he would have given away his other kidney but there is a lot of really good brandy left in the world. We all thought he would make it to 103 with his amazing health and drive for life. I feel cheated in part but mostly thankful to have had such a great brother. Judy and family, we love you all. Bill - I will see you on the other side. Heinz

Judy I am so shocked and saddened to hear about Bill's passing. He was such a caring and compassionate man who was always ready to give a helping hand. Bill,(whom we always called Willy) was so instrumental in working on our home when we moved to the country. He maintained a sense of humour as he worked and prided himself in a job well done. Dearest Judy, Dana, Patrica and family, we are shocked and saddened to hear of Bill’s passing. It was always a pleasure to chat with him in the store. He was so cheerful and energetic it made you want to stop what you were doing to have a conversation. His sense of humour and positive attitude made him a great conversationalist. Both Patti and I were saddened to hear of the passing of Bill. I have many fond memories of working with Bill at the Experimental Farm, building a new research centre. Often we would run into him in Arnprior and have a good laugh as he had a great sense of humour. Our deepest condolences go out to Judy and family. You will be missed Bill. RIP my friend.
