With profound sadness , we all mourn the passing of Aunt Margaret. Margaret was a woman of great faith , who 's life was a shining example of devotion to both her family and her church. Aunt Magaret was a pillar of her chuch community , her unwavering faith an inspiration to those that knew her. She embraced her religious beliefs and lived them out fully through her actions- extending a warm welcome to people , volunteering tirelessly . To us who knew her closely she was the steady , nurturing heart , her home ( where she so wanted to pass ) was a sanctuary filled with love. She delighted in bringing her family together , savouring every moment spent surrounded by her loved ones. Her grandchildren were her pride an joy. My aunt Margaret , a woman of the water, where she navigated her way across the Ottawa river , to her camp fo many years, assied in recent years by her boys , and her grandson Pat. Margaret possessed an inner strength and resilience that could move mountains . She endured life's hardships with grace, determination and optimism. Her ability to find the bright side , to have it all make sense, was a gift to all who had the honour of being around her. My aunt Margaret made the world a gentler , kinder place. We will miss her dearly , miss her smile, her laugh , her generous spirit, compassionate heart , her fresh baked bread :) ; and her words of wisdom. May we all strive to live our lives as full as she did, with the same abundance of kindness, faith and love. We will miss you Aunt Margaet , but we will never forget you . May you sail in peaceful waters in heaven above.
