Obituary of Joan Lapierre

LAPIERRE, Joan “Pepsi”

(nee Vaillant)

With great sadness, the family announces the sudden and unexpected passing of their Matriarch Joan Lapierre.

Joan left us from the Renfrew Victoria Hospital early Friday morning, March 8, 2024 at the age of 91 years.

Beloved wife of the late George Lapierre (November 9, 2002).

Much loved and devoted Mom of Sandra-Dee (Steven Miller) and Jennifer (Sean Moore). Cherished Nana of Ethen and Jaiden.

Dear sister of John Vaillant (Marie). Predeceased by 2 brothers: Allan “Sonny” and Terry Vaillant.

Daughter of the late Godfrey “Guts” and Loretta (nee Clouthier) Vaillant.

Lovingly remembered by those closest to her.

A vibrant woman filled with energy and a love for life itself, Joan always exuded an outgoing personality.

She loved being with friends; sharing in good times and also supporting them through their hardships.

Shopping, dancing, being funny are but a few of the special attributes that made Joan unique.

She will be missed.

Her final care has been entrusted to the

Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior

where visitation will take place on Thursday evening, March 14^th from 6 to 8 p.m. and again on Friday morning, March 15^th from 9:45 to 10:30.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. John Chrysostom Church, Arnprior on Friday morning at 11 o’clock followed by interment at the Malloch Road Cemetery, Arnprior.

All are welcome to attend a reception at Pilon’s afterward.
