Obituary of Lois McLean
(Retired – Boeing, Arnprior)
With sadness yet grateful for a full life well lived, the family announces that Lois passed away suddenly but peacefully at The Arnprior Villa on Friday afternoon, July 21, 2023; Lois Mary Isabel McLean of Arnprior was 90 years of age.
Beloved wife of the late Rhéal Patenaude and of the late Delmer McLean.
Dearly loved mother of Debbie Smith (Raymond) of Kincardine; Barry McLean (Goldie) of Calgary; Heather McLean (Rick Fiebig) of Gananoque and Bert McLean (Céline) of Arnprior.
Cherished GG of 7 grandchildren: Megan Miller (Ryan), Kent Smith, Derek Slater (Jenna), Charlotte Head (Gavin), Andrew McLean (Nicole), Jennifer McLean and Shannen McLean (Colby Quinton)
and 8 great-grandchildren: Olivia, Jackson, Hunter, Georgia, Mae, Layla, Kodi and Easton.
Dear sister of Marjorie McEwen (late Jim) and Margaret McDonald (late Harvey), both of Arnprior.
Predeceased by her only brother, Glen Carswell (late Ruby) as well as a sister, Annabelle Smith (late Jim).
Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late Andrew and Mary (nee Dragas) Carswell.
Heartfelt thanks to the nurses and all staff at the Arnprior Villa for the kindness and care shown to Lois during her stay there.
Final care and arrangements have been entrusted to the
Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior
where visitation was held on Wednesday morning, July 26th from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m.
A Service to honour and remember Lois followed in the Pilon Family Chapel at 11 o’clock.
Interment Malloch Road Cemetery, Arnprior.
Reception at Pilon’s following the interment.
