I worked with Richard, at the City of Ottawa, and would see the love in the eyes of Richard, any time he spoke of Junior. I'm very sorry to here of Ivan's passing. My dad, Ossie Caswell was his roommate at the Bonnechere Manor and I remember how Ivan would follow Dad when he went for his walks to make sure Dad didn't fall. He was instrumental in getting help a number of times. He always reminded me as well that we shared the same birthday. Blessings to you, his family. He will be missed.

Ivan was always a good friend to my sister, Patricia when they both were at Community Living. They would always dance together at the many parties held there. I am sure that Pat is welcoming her dance partner in heaven where they both now reside.
To Ivan's family please accept my sincere condolences but take heart that you were blessed with him in your midst and will have fond memories to carry you in the future.

All your kind words to our family for our uncle june means alot to all of us. Uncle June had a spot in my heart and always will chacing him around trying to get a chip .playing crazy eights count down.his giggle and his smile. We took him to see the sens game years ago and it was a hoot.The whole way down to ottawa and the whole time at the game and our way home he giggled .he was beeming ear to ear he will be missed by so many of us all .He sure was a cool cat. I am still in shock that ivan is not going to be at work when I get there it's a huge loss for us . He took his job very serious and helped a lot . By help in the dining room transporting people in wheel chairs every morning . Helping in activities he was a blessing for us and will miss his hardy laugh when you drop something. So sorry to the family and to all that loved him. Will miss him

Bernice and Family,
I'm truly sorry to hear of Ivan's passing. My days at the Manor will not be the same without him there. His laugh, his smile, and kind words will be so very missed. Some residents touch your lives a little more than others, Ivan was one of those residents. He was loved by so many friends, staff and family of other residents. The place will be a little less warm without him there.
